ObamaCare Remains a Disaster for America
PRESS RELEASE  June 28, 2012

ObamaCare Taxes & Regulations Will Be Devastating

ObamaCare remains a disaster for America. Government programs won't fix health care. Only free market policies that increase competition and individual choice will achieve greater efficiency and affordability for all Americans.

As of today, millions of American families stand to lose their current healthcare coverage and will be forced into government-run healthcare programs. A strong majority of Americans remain opposed to the federal health care mandate and they strongly oppose any government bureaucracy putting itself between patient and doctor.

New taxes to pay for ObamaCare will go into effect in the next two years. The new taxes and regulations on small businesses will be devastating and our economic recovery will be stifled again.

After today's disappointing Supreme Court decision, we must now redouble our political efforts to force a full repeal of ObamaCare. We will achieve this by electing a new President in November and a conservative majority U.S. House and Senate that will respect our freedoms and individual rights as delineated in the United States Constitution.

Contact: Koster for Congress

John Koster announced today his decision to enter the Special Election to fill the remainder of Jay Inslee's unexpired term:

John Koster

John Koster

"I have repeatedly said that I was not inclined to enter this race. Nevertheless, Republicans in the district ought to have a strong option on the ballot that gives them a voice in the process. The newly drawn 1st congressional district retains a portion of the old 1st congressional area and a significant amount of voters. It only makes sense to offer a conservative alternative as they vote for a replacement."

As a businessman and public servant, John Koster has the right experience to represent the 1st Congressional District. Now a Snohomish County Councilman, John also served three terms as a State Representative in Olympia where he earned a reputation as a fiscal watchdog. He organized the Washington Conservative Caucus, which was instrumental in leading efforts to lower taxes, cut spending, and eliminate excessive regulations.
